THE ORIGIN OF KINESIOLOGY
Giving a voice to the body.
The word "kinesiology" has its origins in Ancient Greek: it combines movement (kinesis) with speech or discourse (logos), effectively giving a voice to the body as it expresses itself through movement (specifically, muscle testing).
Â
Kinesiology is, in essence, a form of dialogue with the body. It draws partly on Traditional Chinese Medicine and was developed in the United States during the 1960s by chiropractors who identified the connections between muscles, meridians, organs, and emotions.

teamwork
Together, we will go in search of your resources.
Every event we have experienced has been recorded within us. This is what allows usâwithout even realizing itâto evaluate each new situation in light of what we have already been through. If certain experiences were traumatic, they can leave a mark on our body memory.
â
The goal is to identify, among our life experiences, those that hold sway over usâwhether consciously or unconsciously. The event itself will not be erasedâwhat happened, happenedâbut the associated stress can be removed, allowing us to acknowledge and accept the experience, create a different response for a better future, and live a balanced life.Â

identify
We rediscover within ourselves the resources needed to cope with these experiences and move beyond our limitations.
support
While the therapist acts as a guide and translator, it is the individual who carries within them everything that will be brought to light during the session.
Â
Thus, the primary aim of kinesiology is to support the client in discovering their own resources and solutions.

instrument
Muscle testing is the tool available to the therapist for questioning the body and communicating with itâor, more precisely, with the subconscious, which stores all of the individual's memories.
muscle
Muscle testing is based on the principle that any imbalance, conflict, or stress manifests as weak muscle resistance.
The therapist applies light pressure to various muscle groups while asking a question or making a statement.
PHYSIOLOGICAL
The advantage of the test is that the muscular response is physiological in natureâmeaning it lies beyond the control of the conscious mind. Muscle testing is therefore an extremely reliable guide for determining what the body needs.
